Lindsay Lohan Marilyn Monroe

Lindsay Lohan certainly seems to attract controversy wherever she goes, and her recent nude Playboy spread is no different. Not only did the centerfold photo shoot of LiLo imitating blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe, cause a stir due to its obviously unclothed nature, but also because the pictures were leaked on the Internet causing the "Lindsay" edition of the magazine to also be released early. So it seems Monroe has been making waves—again—in Hollywood, beginning with Michelle Williams' on-screen portrayal of her in My Week with Marilyn. Now, Lady Gaga has just stepped out looking mighty similar to the sex symbol. But who channeled the late screen goddess best... the Lady G or Lindsay Lohan?

Hugh Hefner would no doubt go with Lindsay Lohan. After all, it's not the troubled actress' first rodeo, as she also de-robed in 2008 for New York Magazine, emulating Monroe. Practice must make perfect, with the second time around being the charm. Even Hefner said of her Playboy spread, "It's a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate which was in the original issue of Playboy."

As for Lady Gaga trending towards the Marilyn Monroe "look," she garnered plenty of buzz without even showing too much skin (or posing for a racy magazine). The "Born This Way" singer stepped out in New York to greet fans and demonstrate some serious blonde ambition. She styled her hair—dyed platinum—with a short and wavy retro, Marilyn-esque 'do. Red lips, cat-eye sunglasses and a black blazer under which peeked a black bra, and nothing else, completed the look. Sultry style, curves and cleavage without too much controversy? Check. Lady Gaga wins the doppelgänger prize.

Nevertheless, Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan both definitely kept it hot with their Marilyn moments. It looks like, this time, the blondes really did have more fun.
